    Notes Due to the heavy rains during the last few weeks, most of the Egyptian Geese were counted in the cultivated lands. The main pan was full and the surrounding grass shores were saturated with water and hid many birds. The smaller pan also had a lot of water, hidden by the long grasses that had grown during the drier period.
