    Notes All five dams were overflowing. Tall tamarisk bushes, reeds and sedges reduced visibility on all of the dams. The sedges growing in fourth dam (from the N) have died back a bit, improving visibility somewhat. Weather good. Red-knobbed Coot breeding: pair with 6 young (< 1 week old), pair with 2y (c.1/4 adult size) and 1 adult on nest, probably incubating.
