Much emergent vegetation in northernmost dam, obscuring mush of shore and open water. c.20 carcasses (old to fresh) of birds in upper reaches of northernmost dam; mostly: Cape Teal (1 dying), Southern Pochard, Egyptian Goose, SA Shelduck. Also 1 dying wader (Ruff?) collected.
