    Notes Early morning drizzle gettting stronger, water choppy. Beach at Meerensee Mouth almost deserted because of the rain factor. Had a problem accessing Meerensee at Security. They didn't want to let us in without authorisation. Were held up for over twenty minutes trying to sort out the security guard. Had to waken Nida Potgieter to gain access.
