    Notes Strong south winds made counting difficult and only the closer birds were counted and therefore the count was very low. Slight rain then started. The mouth is still closed and iSimangaliso is busy deepening the beach channel from the Mfolozi into St Lucia. There was more birdlife in the St Lucia bay today.
