    Notes High Tide at mouth 05:52. HT at Kersefontein at start of count, but count on falling tide. However, very little water in floodplain - almost entirely dry. Water in some pans from rainfall only. Floodplain has not flooded. Heronry pan transect counted on foot. The rest of the site was counted by car/ foot. Clear, calm conditions. Breezy towards late morning.
