    Notes River was high all day, so no mud banks exposed on this section. Weather was miserable. Overcast with drizzle. Due to recen heaavy rains and flooded sollen river, much water everywhere. Fiona Kotoze from Langrietvlei told me the flood this winter was highest ever. Highter than that recorded in 1942
