    Notes Both inflows blocked by hyacinth and dam wall also heavily infested. Most of shoreline now infested. Rafts of drifting plants also seen in the middle of the dam. Mechanical removal being undertaken along urbanised shoreline. Rakes, boats modified to push hyacinth to shore and even a conveyor for lifting out gathered material being employed. Mist delayed start. Very cold and calm initially. Icy wind later.
